Extended ENTITLEMENT NurserY (Little Lions)
We provide extended care for children who attend morning nursery. Sometimes this will be in the nursery classroom at other time sit maybe in a a purpose built classroom depending on the size of the intake.
We can offer:
- A purpose built classroom.
- Two outdoor play areas. One with a soft play surface and the other a wildlife area.
- Continuity of care with a dedicated team.
- A school that is rated as good.
- An accessible environment.
- Care from 8.00 am until 5.30 pm each day (when combined with the Breakfast and After School Club provision).
- Competitive rates.
- Help with funding for extra childcare through HMRC Extended Entitlement.
Aims
Our aim is to ensure that your child feels safe and secure in a fun, learning environment. We want them to have a wide range of play activities that will help them to learn and to make new friendships. Your child will be with a caring and enthusiastic staff team who are skilled at working with young children.
We aim to make sure that your child has a positive school experience right from the start.
Activities Include
Many of the activities will seem familiar to you and your child. Activities will include water play, sand play, games, books, play dough, painting, music, outdoor play, singing, dressing up, stories and art and craft.
There will also be an area where your child can rest after all of these activities.
Times and Charges
Little Lions runs from the end of morning nursery at 11.55 am until 3.30 pm. The cost of this is £14 per day. If you require care before Nursery or after Little Lions please look at the times and charges on the Breakfast and After School Club page.
